FLUOR Business Management Traineeship
I grew up in a family of engineers in India and always enjoyed taking up challenging endeavors. Be it my time onboard a ship as a Marine/Mechanical Engineer or coming to The Netherlands to pursue my Masters: I have always strived to seek excellence by taking up challenges.
After graduating from TU Delft and doing my internship in the Oil & Gas industry I wanted to make sure the next step in my career would provide me a platform to use my existing skills and knowledge globally as well as helping me grow further in the industry.
The Business Management Traineeship program offered by Fluor immediately caught my attention as it offered rotational assignments with an opportunity to develop further with the help of constant mentoring, focused trainings and guidance. Adding to that the global recognition of Fluor as a leading Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) company motivated me further to apply for this unique program.
Since joining Fluor, everyday has been a new learning adventure. It actually started from the very well-structured assessment days, which offered a great insight into the challenging and diverse project environment of Fluor.
There are endless opportunities for young graduates like me to learn, flourish and be a part of exciting projects. At Fluor, working with a big group of multi-talented, multi-cultural individuals, who are always willing to share their knowledge, motivates you to dream big. The BMT program further enhances this experience as you can undertake an escalated learning path to shape your career further.
In the last two and half years I have been involved in execution of multibillion dollar projects all over the globe and most recently finished my onsite assignment at ExxonMobil Rotterdam, which was challenging in every way possible. Apart from that I have also been part of several innovation focused initiatives which aim at bringing a radical change in the way we do business. Not many Graduate programs can boast of giving such dynamic opportunities to young graduates.
I am eagerly looking forward to start the next chapter of BMT coming September and further grow with Fluor.
