The Business Management Trainee Program at Fluor is the perfect opportunity for those interested in applying their technical background in commercial challenges. This is undoubtedly what appealed to me the most before applying. Since I joined Fluor in September 2017 I am able to see the close relationship between Business and Engineering.
At the Estimating Department, we learn how to evaluate the costs of multibillion euro projects from different industries and find ways to lead customers to the best solutions based on technical and commercial expertise.
Fluor is an incredibly international and receptive company, what makes new trainees feel at home from day one. BMTs not only enjoy the benefits of exclusive courses but also a clear career path for the next 8 years. Indeed, the program consists of two parts: the traineeship itself, followed by an individual, tailored leadership track to further accelerate our development.
One of the main advantages of the program is the daily contact with mentors, who guide us through the rotations and prepare us to a management position in the near future. Moreover, there is always the possibility of taking part of major international projects, pushing personal and professional growth even further.
